This house was designed to fit on an extremely small footprint of only 25’-0” x 35’-0” where an existing house had once stood. The solution was produced by incorporating a cellar at the lower level for a total of three floors and featuring a stair element embedded in an architectural light house tower / ‘windows loft’. Window locations throughout the house are placed in order to frame very narrow and specific ocean views. The kitchen, living room and dining area are created as a single open and expansive space in order to counter the possibility of the spaces feeling small.
